The point
After this lesson you have a repeatable method for stepping up to bigger features without guessing.

The Technique
- The rule: new size or new feature, never both. A bigger drop on a familiar trail, or a familiar size somewhere new.
- Walk it. Lip condition, landing angle, runout length, and what happens if you case it.
- Get a speed reference: follow a rider who knows the feature at their pace, or use the marked roll-in point locals use.
- First hit at the minimum clean speed, not showtime speed.
Still under the glass
- 3 more technique steps
- The 3 mistakes that undo it, with fixes
- The drill that builds the reflex
- The safety non-negotiables
