The point
After this lesson you can initiate with throttle alone in a slow corner - and understand the grip, power and corner-shape conditions that make power-over possible.

The Technique
- What power-over is. Enough torque to the rear tyres mid-corner that they break traction without any mechanical trick. The purest initiation, and the most honest about your car: it needs either decent power, low grip, or a tight corner. Ideally two of the three.
- Setting it up. Slow the corner down more than feels natural, turn in with the nose loaded, then open the throttle hard and progressively while the steering is still committed. The front grips, the rear lights up, the car rotates.
- Reading the conditions. Cold tyres, damp patches, tight radius, second gear - all lower the power threshold. Teach viewers to pick the corner and conditions that suit their car rather than fighting physics in a fast sweeper.
