9 min · Full library · written from fifteen years in the terrain
The point
After this lesson you can corner on flat, loose ground by leaning the bike under you with the outside foot loaded.

The Technique
- Entry speed honest, braking done early. Flat corners forgive nothing.
- Outside pedal down, and drive real weight through it. That foot is your grip.
- Separate: the bike leans more than your body. Push the bars down into the turn while you stay tall over the tyres' contact patches.
Still under the glass
- 3 more technique steps
- The 3 mistakes that undo it, with fixes
- The drill that builds the reflex
- The safety non-negotiables
It opens when you book a trip that runs mountain bike - these are the exact drills you run with your coach out there. Your booking unlocks this whole library.
