The point
After this lesson you can keep a sled planing and turning in deep snow instead of trenching to a stop every hundred metres.

The Technique
- Deep snow is a commitment sport. The track needs continuous drive to stay on top: smooth, sustained throttle, planned lines, and no dithering mid-slope.
- Momentum is flotation. Enter deep zones with speed already built, and read the terrain two moves ahead so you never need to stop somewhere flat and bottomless.
- Stand tall and centred, and steer by loading the running boards. Weight the inside board and the sled rolls up on edge and carves; weight back slightly to lighten the skis when the nose starts to push.
Still under the glass

- The 3 mistakes that undo it, with fixes
- The drill that builds the reflex
