NECK & ANTI-FATIGUE WORK FOR HIGH-G DAYS

The point
Repeated lateral load and a helmet's weight cook your neck before anything else, and the neck is trained slowly or not at all.

The Technique
- Hand-resisted isometric holds in four directions - forward, back, left, right - three holds of 10-15 seconds each. Your own hand supplies the resistance and the safety margin. This is the foundation and it stays in the programme throughout.
- Progress to lying head-hovers: on your back, lift your head a centimetre and hold; on your side, the same. Build the hold time before you ever think about external load.
- Shrug holds and band rows for the upper back, because the neck never works alone - under a helmet and harness the whole yoke shares the load.
Still under the glass
- 3 more technique steps
- The 3 mistakes that undo it, with fixes
- The drill that builds the reflex
- The safety non-negotiables
